If you are just joining me in my story, welcome.

I’ve always been an open book, and I want you to have a bit of context about my writing.
First thing you should know is that I am a hot mess. I own it and I love it.
Second thing you should know is that I’m gay, I’m Christian, and no, the two are not mutually exclusive.

This conversation we’re having is exactly that: a conversation. I’m not here to tell you what to believe, I’m here to help you understand why you believe what you do. So whether this is your first time wading into the conversation of faith and sexuality, you support LGBTQ+ rights but you’re silenced by your congregation’s position on this issue, or perhaps you are someone who is struggling with reconciling faith and sexuality, I hope that these words are inspiring and powerful for you.

Wherever you’re at, you’re not alone.

To get an idea of where I’m coming from, I’ve compiled my favorite blogs here. Click the image to jump to the specific blogs.

Firstly, download my ebook and read that. It gives some great insight and has a lot of my story and frustration with it.

Secondly, watch this video and I’ll tell you my story:

You should also check out QueerGrace.com, an online resource for the numerous theological questions we have surrounding the Bible and LGBTQ inclusion and justice.

I hope as you read my story, you’re set free to share yours.
